So yeah, Team LID now has a car. Yes, it's a pile of crap, but what do you expect for $350. Found it on Craiglist and it actually runs pretty good. 4cyl with a 5spd. should be plenty reliable and fun to drive. Our plans are to put the fenders/nose back on, get the current Fred Flinstone brakes working well, make it light, and take the wife out to a nice dinner for letting me buy this POS.
